Oklahoma Amphibians & Reptiles

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation has reprinted A Field Guide to Oklahoma’s Amphibians and Reptiles. After being out of print for several years, it is good to have it available again. The book is a great value at only $20 plus shipping. This new 2021 4th edition has been updated by the authors Greg and Lynnette Sievert. It includes descriptions of 59 amphibian and 94 reptile species. Field guide sized (5.5″ x 8.5″) and 241 pages, the guide has a spiral lay-flat binding, great photos, and county level distribution maps for each species.

What was that snake you found on your patio? That lizard guarding the peas in your garden? Here is the place to find out. The county level maps are a great boon to zeroing in on the correct identification.
