Susan Dragoo wrote an article in the March 2015 issue of Oklahoma Today magazine describing her own retracing of Nuttall’s travels upstream from Fort Smith and into northeastern Oklahoma. She was accompanied by Debby Kaspari who’s paintings and sketches accompany the article.
